I can't wait to try her out! Hopefully tomorrow or Thursday night. Today I learned I can attend the TFC swim clinic at SMCC this Saturday, despite the fact that this clinic was declared "full" early in the summer. I'm super excited (and feeling grateful) about that.

Def need to get some Body Glide though, that's one thing I forgot about. Where does one purchase Body Glide?

Oh, and I forgot to mention in my last post, got some dreadful news yesterday... my doctor confirmed "SWIMMER'S EAR" - I'm using ear drops and "not getting my ears wet" - yeah right - I guess I'll have to suffer for the next couple of weeks, because there is no chance I'm not swimming! She said this is a "VERY MILD" case of Swimmer's Ear - I can't imagine a severe case. Ouch.

My fundraising: You see, I have changed my fundraising goal a number of times - I recently had it up to $2,000.00 because I really wanted to "win" automatic registration in next year's TFC (which is done by raising $2000.00, duh), but I am setting it back at $1,500.00, which is nothing to be ashamed of. I'm almost there, not sure exactly, but I know my thermometer is at 14 hundred and some odd dollars. Thank you all who have generously donated your money to support such a great Maine cause.

Tonight I will bike the 15 mile race course with Rich. Detailed report to follow...

I find myself looking for words of wisdom as I bike the course for the first time and have my first open water swim. Looking for words of wisdom from any and all of you - or words of inspiration... or just words... I'll take anything I can get.
